New Testament-Part 1

In this 6-week study of the New Testament, we’ll take a look at the books of the Gospels–Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn about the ministry, methods, miracles, and message of Jesus Christ. This series begins with Jesus’ birth and concludes with his entry into Jerusalem, just before his crucifixion on the cross. Each week, you’ll read a chapter in the book “Telling God’s Story” which provides historical context and insights to the corresponding reading of Scriptures. You’ll discuss what you’ve read at a round table with (usually 5-8) others, followed by live teaching from a competent instructor, and then more time of discussion on what you’ve heard. If you have a group of friends or a Life Group you’d like to join at a table together, we can make that happen. Otherwise, you’ll be free to pick a table and make new friends. Our goal is that as you study the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ, your love for His Word will grow, your life will be transformed more into his likeness, and you’ll simultaneously grow closer to other believers who are joining you on this faith journey.
